This morning was special.

For months a group of children from the van Asch Deaf Education Centre at Ascot Park Primary School have been wanting to meet Morgan Mitchell.

Morgan spoke to the children about not letting anything stop them achieving their dreams. Morgan himself was born deaf and now plays with a cochlear implant and has recently been playing professionally in Toronto and of course for the Stags. 

Born in Gore and being Southland through and though, Morgan's story of determination is one that this amazing group of children will remember for a very long time!
