Rugby Southland is thrilled to announce an action-packed double-header at Rugby Park for this year’s highly anticipated Stag Day Saturday August 2nd, promising an unforgettable celebration of rugby, community, and Southland pride.

As a curtain-raiser to the main event, Southland Country will take on Otago Metro North, with kickoff scheduled for 2:00pm. General Admission gates open at 1:30pm, and entry to this exciting clash is included in the SBS Bank Southland Stags ticket—a fantastic bonus for fans.

Following the early fixture, the SBS Bank Southland Stags will hit the field at 4:35pm for a fierce showdown against traditional rivals Otago. In the lead-up to kickoff, fans will be treated to live entertainment from none other than The Bushwhackers, with a special appearance by former Stag Steven Hayes.
