Phillips Group Extends Naming Rights Sponsorship of Southland Rugby Representative Programme Through 2027


Phillips Group, spearheaded by Owner and Director Lloyd Phillips, is thrilled to announce the renewal of its naming rights sponsorship of the Southland Rugby Representative Programme until the culmination of 2027. This reaffirmed commitment underscores Phillips Group's unwavering dedication to fostering rugby talent and community engagement throughout the region.

The extended partnership encompasses a consortium of Phillips Group businesses deeply rooted in the fabric of Southland rugby. This includes I Hire, managed by Richard Marah; I Battery, led by Manager Kieran McDonald; Supreme Siteworks under the stewardship of Manager Kyle Dackers; Southern Mechanical Services, overseen by Manager Lloyd Phillips; and the latest addition to the alliance, I Signs. Notably, I Signs has recently undergone a substantial expansion and is now proudly supporting Rugby Southland and the Southland U16 Girls team, aligning with Phillips Group's commitment to rugby development at all levels.

Specifically, the sponsorship extends to various tiers of the Southland Rugby Representative Programme, including the I Battery Southland Development, I Hire Southland Hinds, Supreme Siteworks U19s, I Hire U18 Boys, Supreme Siteworks U16 Boys, Southern Mechanical Services U18 Girls, and I Signs U16 Girls teams, with over 270 players.
