 2009 Representative overview:

As with last year the U18 team were a bit slow to get into gear for the 2009 season.  This had a lot to do with our top 4 first XV Teams competing so well and SBHS and Gore High players being involved in semi finals etc which cut into Under 18 pre-season and training.  The team was very young and over half will be available for the team next season.  Even so the team played some exciting rugby with the highlight of the year being their 33 point victory over Otago Metro (A team that had beaten them pre-season).  This showed the hard work the team and its coaching staff had put in over the first 3-4 weeks of their time together.  At tournament the team went through to the semi final stage where they were beaten soundly by a strong Canty team which saw them finish 4th in the South Island.

Many thanks to the boys for their efforts and special thanks to the coaching and management staff for their efforts.
